NEW VISTA OPTOMETRY
COVID PROTOCOL and OPERATIONS UPDATE

COVID PROTOCOLS

Covid Protocol

New Vista Optometry has made several important changes in our office to allow for safe patient care. We now have an Airpura UV614 medical grade air purifier that covers our 2,000 square foot office to protect our patients and staff.

A recent study conducted at Tel Aviv University showed that 30 seconds of exposure to UVC light was effective in killing 99.97% of the coronavirus. The Airpura UV614 air purifier has a UV lamp, Super HEPA filter, and 3-stage air filtration system.

Additionally, we have reduced our staff in clinic, increased our cleaning protocols and sanitation procedures, and provided a front desk barrier to protect both patients and staff.

All New Vista Optometry staff wear masks and we require our patients to do the same.

Our waiting room protocols have been changed for effective social distancing, and our separate exam rooms continue to allow us to provide safe, individualized care.

Feel free to call our office if you have any questions. We are here to serve you in the safest, most effective way possible during this unprecedented time.
